PRECISION WELDING POSITIONERS (PWP SERIES)
The PWP is selected when axial clamping force from a tailstock is not required to hold the part for welding. This positioner can be orientated in the horizontal or vertical position and includes.
Headstock
With precision bearing, 2 ¼-8 treaded stainless steel spindle, 1.5” through bore, internal spring loaded copper grounding shoes and 3 jaw chuck. Front panel control pendant with .1 to 10 rpm adjustable speed range with forward and reverse direction selector. (Optional speed range 1-20rpm)
Torch Tower
Multi position torch tower can be positioned along positioner bed and includes air actuated in/out motion for clearance of part loading and unloading. Torch tower also includes vertical manual slide and graduated protractor torch angle adjustment.
System includes pneumatic hose and coupling, power cord, interconnect cables and ground cable.
