Weldlogic have recently installed a custom welding lathe for the welding of nuclear fuel control rods. The lathe operates to extreme tolerances; all welded joints are 100% radiographed with 100% inspection. The system was built by carefully integrating standard components to give high reliability and easy maintenance at a competitive price.
