OD Bellows Welding Machine

A global leader in Flow Control Solutions has recently taken delivery of its first fully automatic OD welding machine used in the welding of high temperature metal bellows.     

The machine comprising of control cabinet and integrated software, precision welding lathe, vision system, automatic seam tracker, and precision PA10/100 power supply allows an operator to load a preselected stack of bellows which the machine will weld automatically by identifying each bellows joint to be welded using the fully automatic tracking system.

The machine now in full production has significantly improved production times and weld quality at reduced cost.

A second fully automatic ID bellows machine is also scheduled for the same facility.
